[Eiffel isn't subtle with his expressions; when he feels something, he feels it with his entire body. So Roman will get to see, as soon as the voice responds in that clinical, artificial tone, how Eiffel deflates. His expressions falls, something beyond disappointed and straight into painfully, personally distraught, that leaks the energy from his shoulders and has him slide out of his dumb little pose to hang limp in the air for a moment, anchored only by his slack grip on his ceiling pipe.
Then he closes his eyes, and takes a breath, and - the sadness doesn't go away, but it gets buried, hard, and when he opens his eyes, his voice just comes out with a resigned, tired amusement.]
