Well, she broke Hilbert's wrist yesterday, so that was a barrel of laughs.

[There's the sound of footsteps on his end, but shortly there's the familiar creak of his door opening.]

[And lo, there her finds Shaw, having arrived very shortly before him: she's switched the gravity off, for once, and is sitting on his couch looking a little shellshocked.]

So, uh-- funny timing. A friend of mine showed up, too.

[Eiffel just stares at her for a hot second.]

No way! [And he slams into the couch, vaulting over it to sit next to her like a kid catching gossip.] Who is it? Do I need to go beat 'em up?

[What does she do!! She closes her eyes for a second or two, then blinks them open and stares at his hands rather than meeting his gaze.]

How are you handling this?

You heard me screaming from the rooftops, right? I got it all out of my system, had a few people help me screw my head back on. And also then she broke Hilbert's arm, so I had to put my warden hat back on for a while.

[He leans back on the couch, pulling his cigarette and lighter out.]

But it's... I dunno. I'm still not over it. It's gonna take a while to get used to.

Do you think it's weird that it happened to both of us at the exact same time?

...I dunno. I guess it's kinda hinged on whether you think there's something linking them? And if it's just the two of us, I'm not sure that's a decent sample size.
