Re: After the sword madness
Have you now? I must admit I'm pleased to hear it.
It was a long shot, asking for the sample, but I'd wanted to speak to you before I proceeded. Decima will always be Doctor Hilbert's obsession, but it isn't his one and only issue. People are not dispensable, even if one has so-called good intentions.
He asked, and I've agreed. Knowing the risks and being able to give my permission unlike his other victims, I'm going to host the virus for further experimentation.
Re: After the sword madness
...I... think this is a terrible idea, and I want that on record.
[And then he sighs, already super drained by all this.]
But it's literally your funeral, so... look, if you want an emergency out, I'll let Gaius know so he can pull the plug and fix you up, you just gotta let him know too.
Re: After the sword madness
But I don't want Gaius involved, or anyone else for that matter. I'll make my own arrangements and contingencies.

Not many people like Hilbert, but I’m not one of then. I suspect you’re not either. I hear your concerns, Mr Eiffel. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly.
