[There's the sound of a heavy exhale, ruffling his own hair as he debates it.]

...look, just so you know, this is all second-hand for me. But... yeah. When Neal found out that Jedao accidentally shut me down when he was just trying to stop the ghost in my machine, Neal kinda sorta front-flipped off the deep end? He told Jedao to hurt himself like how he hurt me, and when Jedao did it Neal realised he fucked up and he's been beating himself up ever since.

Pretty much everyone involved got fucked up by it, and believe me, they all came forward to check on me, so I've got hard evidence.

I did see Neal once after it happened. Shaw called me to help Norton bring Neal out of Jedao’s cabin, but when I got there Norton had already teleported him to his cabin. He was unconscious the whole time. We ended up bringing him to the infirmary.
