[But he takes the box still. And his eyes flick between it and Roman's face - there's no doubt or suspicion, just a sort of dawning surprise that he's actually getting something at all - as he flicks it open.

And... look, Eiffel wouldn't know a fancy watch from a glory hole. But this looks expensive, as he lifts it carefully out of the box, still in perfect condition. He feels like he's reducing the resale value just by looking at it.]

[And he's already taking it out of the box as he talks, putting it on his right wrist. What, he's a leftie. And given that he's a bit broader on all fronts than Roman, it actually looks almost reasonably sized on his wrist.]

[ Roman's eyes slide closed the moment he sees it not fitting, sighs softly, and wiggles his fingers for Eiffel to give it back. He knows how to adjust it, he's got the tools just in case.

Watches are surprisingly serious for him and his world. He's going to make sure it fits, dammit. It also gives him something to do while dropping the bomb. ]
