No need to explain yourself. I'd ask someone the same question. Enlisted in the United States Army, was a sniper when I joined up with the Rangers. Now I'm with the U.S. Marshal Service.

Yeah, man, go for it. If you arm him I reserve the right to confiscate it, though. I'm not sure he's at a point where I trust him with anything more lethal than a bubble gun.

I think when it comes to the unwritten rules of being a warden, "give someone's inmate a weapon" isn't one of them. Just like teaching someone's inmate how to use firearms without running by the person in charge of them. Last thing I want is someone going off and me taking the blame for it.
